This project is currently not finished, but I wanted to leave a record of this project in case it goes nowhere.

What are V-tubers?

V-tubers are content creators who use an avatar that is controlled by their facial expressions or body movement. Recently, the number and popularity of V-tubers have risen drastically, mostly thanks to the rise in popularity of Japanese V-tuber groups such as Hololive and Nijisanji.

Hololive, currently one of the most popular V-tuber groups

While some V-tubers use 3d models that are controlled by the content creator’s body movement, more V-tubers use animated 2d portraits controlled by their facial expressions as their avatars.

In this blog post, we will learn about the Naive Bayesian Classifier model, the classifier model that was used in detecting oceanic plastic waste in satellite data, and look at current methods to remove oceanic garbage.

Naive Bayesian Classifier

The Naive Bayesian classifier is a classifier model that is based on probability and inferential statistics. To understand the Naive Bayesian classifier, we need to know what conditional probability is, what the Bayesian theorem is, and what it means when two events are independent of each other.

Conditional Probability is the probability of one event occurring, given that another event has already occurred. For…

Recent papers suggest a way to detect oceanic plastic waste from satellite imagery(image source: NASA)

According to Natural Geographic, it is predicted that the amount of plastic waste in the ocean will reach 29 million metric tons by 2040. This can have devastating effects on the marine ecosystem and our health as much of the plastic is consumed by sea creatures and some of the sea creatures are captured and consumed by humans, plastic still remaining in its bodies. To improve this grim situation, many environmental agencies are searching for a way to efficiently and safely remove plastic waste from ocean waters.

Plastic Litter Project

One of the groups trying to remove plastic waste is the Marine Remote…

A demonstration of a program that I made a while back that detects body parts from an image and lets you play the rhythm game Osu! using your body.

This video has nothing to do with Inspirit AI. I’m just posting this here because I think it would be neat to organize my projects in my medium account.

Hi! I am Andrew Chang, a member of the Inspirit AI Student Ambassadors Program. I am a student with a great interest in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Computer Science in general. Ever since I was young, I was fascinated by how Artificial Intelligences seems to “learn” on its own and how it can be utilized in so many aspects of our lives.

I have always tried to learn about AI principles and techniques and have tried out multiple educational programs and courses, Inspirit AI Scholars program being one of them. Inspirit AI is an AI course for high school…
